On our very first trip to Indonesia, we had what I can only describe as multiple once in a lifetime opportunities.

One of them was going out to a very sacred space, this is called the Parangkusumo.
The Parangkusumo is a national park and a beach. It’s a beautiful place. And it’s a place that is truly magnetic. It is magnetic. The entire sand on the beach is black iron sand. If you drag a magnet over it, it sticks to the magnet. That’s what kind of sand this is. And the energy of this whole place is just incredible. It’s the birthplace of Merpati Putih. It’s the place where the oldest of the 11th generation heirs and his father would train to learn the energy of the martial arts. In 2005, when I first went to Indonesia with my brother Mike, we had the opportunity to go train, test, and feel the energy of these sands.

From what we were told, the sand is close to three miles deep. Just imagine that much iron sand, getting pummeled by the waves, getting hit by the wind, and churning up the electromagnetism of this place. I don’t know that there’s any place else like it in the world. But what I can tell you is when you train there and you do the energy work from Merpati Putih, all the hair on your body stands up. It’s pretty awesome.

It’s is also probably tied with hell for the hottest place in the universe.

12 o’ clock noon + 100 degrees + black sand = poor feet. I’ve never done the fire-walks, but I can guarantee they’re right on the same level. The only difference is with a fire-walk, you walk, and if it’s too hot, you can jump to the side and you’re not on fire anymore. In Parangkusumo, on that sand, when it’s hot and the sun is out and you’re thinking, “Oh, this is great I’ll just take off my sandals and chuck them over there.” You’ll soon find out just how fast you can run back over to your sandals and how much pain you can endure in 20 feet because it’s really, really hot. But you take that heat. You take that electromagnetism. You take that energy and you combine it all in one place with a bunch of energy workers and experienced meditators. That is a magical place on this planet. If you ever get the opportunity to go to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, Central Java, Parangkusumo, you must go.

It will blow your mind and it will win your heart. It’s a truly magical place.
