Rituals. We all have them, right? I want to talk to you a little bit and ask you about your morning ritual. A lot of people, hit that snooze button three or four times before they actually drag themselves out of bed to then go and get through their day. I know a few people that actually, do the math. “How long is my snooze for? How many minutes is that going to be that I can hit snooze three or four times before I have to get up?” Then they get up and then, of course, restroom and checking Facebook and Instagram to get that dopamine hit, “Who liked my posts? Who’s going to validate me and tell me I’m okay? Or what went wrong in the world today so that I can have something to complain about and bring up that kind of energy?”
Energy is energy. Then, of course, we have coffee. We have our 5-hour Energy drinks. We have all kinds of stuff that’s going to give us chemical stimulation, right?
A lot of people go hit the gym, which is awesome because there’s no right or wrong. Ritual’s a ritual, and whatever you do to get yourself ready and prepared to have the best day that you’re going to be having, that’s great. But what if there was a certain way of breathing, something that has not been available to the public until now? Breathwork is a big buzzword. There are a lot of people hyperventilating and doing all kinds of breathwork, and those are awesome. Breathe. Do your breathwork.
